Meet Teacher Holland

Who I am

My name is Holland and I am the face behind My American English Lessons.  You can choose to take lessons with myself or one of my awesome partners.  As I mentioned I have earned a Bachelor's Degree and am TESOL/TEFL certified.  There is more happiness and giving than in receiving and that is why my team and  I feel teaching English online isthebest job! 


On a personal note, I love animals!  I live in sunny California and have 2 chihuahuas named Sage and Pomy.  I love the rain and snuggling up to watch health documentaries.  Cooking vegan food and having friends over for dinner makes me happy.  I also enjoy going to the beach and watching the sunset with my husband.  


I am married to a caring man that lets me shine bright and be myself.  I can be quite goofy and am known to create many peculiar voices, accents and noises.  Maybe you'll hear one during our class! 


I am a positive person and feel it is best to focus on the good in yourself and others. My partners and I understand the challenges of learning a new language and we want to help you!
